Foodstuffs South Island Ltd. is pleased to confirm that the
majority of our supermarkets are now open. In addition, shipments
of essential food and water, as well as stores' everyday ranges,
are flowing freely through delivery channels and into the
distribution centres and supermarkets.
We continue to encourage any Foodstuffs distribution or
supermarket staff member who is able to make it back in to work to
get in touch so we can continue to support our communities.
However, we do understand that our team members' first priority
should be for their families.
Foodstuffs South Island CEO, Steve Anderson urges customers to
please refrain from 'panic buying' as food and water are constantly
being delivered to stores and it is important to ensure there is
enough stock available at any one time to meet the wider
community's immediate needs.
