    The Waste Minimisation Programme for supermarkets encourages stores to focus on recycling and reusing waste at back of store, with landfill being a last resort.

    Foodstuffs is a member of the Packaging Forum, and we play an active role in promoting the sustainable use of packaging.

    We also encourage our suppliers to accept responsibility in terms of the environmental effects of their products, and to comply with the Code of Practice for the Packaging of Consumer Goods.

Foodstuffs launches fleet of electric vans

A new fleet of 100 percent electric vans is cruising around New Zealand, branded with New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square logos.
