Store Update Following Recent Weather Events: 23rd January 2026 4pm

Following the recent weather events and road closures, all Foodstuffs North Island stores are open and receiving supplies. 

Thanks to the efforts of our store teams, distribution staff, transport partners and emergency services. 

We continue to provide support and assistance when requested to emergency services working in and around Mt Maunganui, and our focus remains on keeping communities supplied safely while response efforts continue. 

We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by customers during what has been a difficult period for many. 

Like all New Zealanders, our thoughts are with the families and friends of the people tragically killed or missing as a result of the recent weather in the North Island.
