With Easter coming up fast, Wellington’s New World Thorndon has some creative inspiration for Easter lovers looking to find their wonderful.

Marty Houston, a butcher and practical yolker at New World Thorndon is back with a range of creative and easy to make Easter decorations that will be fun for the whole family. Made from healthy and nutritious ingredients, that’s right there’s no chocolate here folks, just fun creations made from good value produce so you can hop to it.

Marty, the eggs-pert behind the creations, wanted to provide some chocolate free inspiration to celebrate Easter.  No stranger to helping people find their wonderful, Marty is the creator of ‘Mince Man’ an ever-changing character made from mincemeat who’s legendary amongst New World Thorndon customers.

Marty said: “Everyone loves Easter with the long weekend and all but it’s such a magical time for young families so I wanted to do something egg-stra special for our customers so they have an amazing Easter with the kids by whipping up some creations that they can make at home that will hopefully put a smile on their dials.”

“Even the simplest of ingredients like a hard-boiled egg, can be transformed into something fun and playful and unlike its chocolate cousin, it’s a protein and nutrient powerhouse.”

“To help people have a cracking time, I’ve pulled together a range of easy to make creations using ingredients that are affordable and readily available in the produce department.  There’s no eggs-cuses, for not exploring your creativity this Easter” – he added.
